and many tribes forming the community of these hilly states of Indian region.
The region boasts of the best trekking routes and mountaineering, wildlife
including the one horned Rhino – an endangered species and some other world
heritage sites.

Day 01, Bagdogra / Darjeeling
Assistance on arrival at Bagdogra Airport and drive
3 hrs, (approximately 90 kms) to Darjeeling. On arrival at Darjeeling, check
into the hotel. If time permits explore the surroundings. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02, Darjeeling
Early morning visit Tiger Hill and Ghoom Monastery.
Return to the hotel for breakfast and later proceed for city tour visiting
Observatory hill, Temples, gompas, Sanchal Lake, tea Gardens and natural
history museum. Later in the evening stroll on the streets to explore the
bazaars of Darjeeling. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03, Darjeeilng / Tashidang / Yuksum
Breakfast at the hotel and drive 4 hrs (120 kms)
to Yuksum en route visiting Tashiding. On arrival at Yuksum, the old capital
of Sikkim, you will check into your hotel. After lunch proceed for city
sightseeing of Yuksum. It is the base camp for mountaineering to the Himalayan
region. You can also enter Khangdongza national Park for here as it the
entry point. Dinner around the campfire. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04, Yuksum / Pelling
Breakfast at the hotel and drive 3 to 4 hrs to Pelling.
On arrival check into your hotel. Afternoon walking excursion to Sango-Choling
monastery. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05, Pelling / Gangtok
Breakfast at the hotel and drive 5 hrs (118 kms)
to Gangtok en route visiting Pemayangste Monastery. Spend the evening at
leisure or explore the town on your own.Overnight at hotel.
Day 06, Gangtok
Breakfast at the hotel and full day city tour of
Gangtok including excursion to Rumtek Monastery. During the sightseeing
we will visit Phurchachu hot springs, Namgyal Institute and other prominent
monasteries. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07, Gangtok
Breakfast at the hotel and full day excursion to
Tsongu Lake and Nathu La Pass on the Indo China border. This is the trading
point between the two contries. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08, Gangtok / Kalimpong
After breakfast at the hotel and drive 3 hrs (85
kms) Kalimpong. On arrival check into hotel. Afternoon city tour of Kalimpong
visiting various important Gompas, Flower Nurseries, Sericulture research
Institutes and nature interpretation centre. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09, Kalimpong / Bagdogra
After breakfast drive to 3 hrs (80 Kms) to Bagdogra
in time for flight to onward destination.
