The Taj Mahotsav (18 to 27 February) - A TEN DAY CARNIVAL
Taj Mahotsav, now a famous a ten day event is held at Shilpgram, Near the Famous Taj Mahal at Agra. The amazing and impressive festival commences with a procession showcasing the Mughal Spelndour. The event takes place every year from 18 to 27 February and presents a culturally vibrant forum that brings together the Indian crafts and cultural nuances.
The Taj Mahotsav is an introduction to Uttar Pradesh and India as a whole. The event presents India's extensive arts, crafts and culture. It presents great opportunity to artisans to display their exquisite work of arts and crafts. Marble in lay works rule the festivities each year. The famous crafts include wood carvings from various towns of India and brass works from Moradabad, hand woven carpets from Badohi, the fine pottery from Khurja, the famous chickan-work of Lucknow and the silk of Banaras. Taj Mahotsav - Day 02, Delhi
Delhi is the first city to visit in the India Golden Triangle Tour. Full day city sightseeing of Old Delhi visiting Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat and the markets. Later in the afternoon sightseeing of New Delhi visiting Qutab Minar, Humayun's Tomb, Lotus temple, India Gate and the Rajpath and government buildings.

Taj Mahotsav - Day 03, Delhi / Agra (by road) approx drive 4 to 5 hrs
Morning drive to Agra the second city of the Golden Triangle Tour.
Afternoon city sightseeing - visiting the Agra Fort and the mesmerizing Taj Mahal, constructed from marble and inlaid with jade, crystal and sapphire, it is the epitome of love.

After breakfast drive 5 hrs to Jaipur en route visiting the deserted palaces and pavilions of the Mughal kingdom of Fatehpur Sikri, a World Heritage Site.

Morning excursion to the enchanting Amber Fort, which was once the capital of the region. In the afternoon weave through the lively streets of the Jaipur City and visit the pink sandstone Palace of Winds, City Palace and Jantar Mantar (observatory).
